(New Braunfels, Texas )— The New Braunfels Police Department has been awarded a grant of nearly 32-thousand-dollars for a system of body-worn cameras for NBPD officers. The 50% matching grant is part of the Department of Justice’s, Body Camera Pilot Implementation Program, and will be used with matching funds from the City, which were set aside as part of the city’s Fiscal Year 2015-2016 budget.
