Wading Into Water Issues - Tapping Leaders for Answers

National and State leaders are coming to New Braunfels next Thursday, for an all-day Texas Hill Country Summit to discuss area water challenges, plan strategies, and try to learn from to devastating holiday floods in the past two years on the Blanco, Guadalupe, and San Marcos River . Sign up online to join The Guadalupe Basin Coalition and Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce at the Hill Country Water Summit on December 8th, in the New Braunfels Civic Convention Center. The $50 registration fee includes live music and a BBQ lunch. Students can register for $25.

The New Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce lists the themes as:

A) Current Water Conditions and Outlook for 2017;

B) 2015 Central Texas Floods: How Bad Were the Floods and What Have We Done to Prepare for the Next Flood;

C) What Water Issues are Likely to Dominate the Federal Government and State Government in 2017; and

D) The Latest on Water in the Hill Country and Texas.
