Resident River Passes Available through Parks and Recreation

New Braunfels – City of New Braunfels officials are encouraging residents to acquire their free Resident
River Pass before the 2017 tubing season begins. New Braunfels citizens, who reside inside the corporate city limits,
can receive the Resident River Pass at no charge to avoid paying the $2 River Management Fee charged to nonresidents.
The fee will be implemented on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from Memorial Day weekend through
Labor Day on the Comal River and Guadalupe River inside the city limits.
Residents may obtain their pass at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office, Landa Recreation Center
or the Parks Operation Modular in Landa Park at any time during normal business hours, as listed below:
Parks & Recreation Administrative Office - Monday through Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
Parks Operation Modular (Landa Park) - Monday through Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
Landa Recreation Center - Monday through Friday - 9:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday - 9:00am - 12:00pm
In addition, residents may obtain their Resident River Pass during any of the following extended hours at
the Landa Recreation Center, located at 164 Landa Park Drive:
Monday, April 17th through Friday, April 21st 9am-7pm
Saturday, April 22nd 9am-2pm
Monday, May 15th through Friday, May 19th 9am-7pm
Saturday, May 20th 9am-2pm
Residents must provide a valid driver’s license or proof of residency to receive the free pass. Children
without a valid photo ID or driver’s license must come in with a parent or guardian in order to verify residency. The
pass is good for one season, from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.
