District 1 City Councilmember George Green will soon host a Community Forum, featured a presentation by City of New Braunfels Capital Programs Manager Bryan Woods and engineering consultant, Jeff Moeller-President of Moeller and Associates.

Comal County Sheriff’s Office officials report the victim that was discovered in the house fire in the 700 block of Forest Trail has been positively identified as 57-year-old Gayle Hendry of New Braunfels.

Comal ISD held its first-ever Functional Fitness Games on November 15 for all its high school Physical Education students. The games were held on the famous red turf at Canyon High School’s football field. Canyon and Canyon Lake high school participated in the event.

The Comal County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the death of an individual found Tuesday, following a structure fire.  Apparently, there is a suspect in the case, and that person has been located in Mississippi.

The Comal County Sheriff's Office is now handling the investigation of a body, found inside a burning house early Tuesday morning- just outside the city of New Braunfels. 

This Sunday, from 10am to 2pm., the Canyon Lake Gorge is open to the public- and for the first time, for un-guided tours.
