The Thru The Chute Boat Race has been canceled for 2015.Those planning on using the river after 1pm. are advised that river conditions are not optimum, with murky water and debris-both on the surface and under the water, with fast-moving flows. The NBPD urges anyone using the Comal River on Sunday afternoon to use caution and to take safety precautions (like life vests) seriously.

The Comal River is closed to water recreation for Saturday, April 26th.
