Project Lifesaver is a new program at the NBPD that promises some peace of mind for parents and caregivers of children who often wander off, due to brain disorders like Autism and Down Syndrome. Committee members that brought the program to New Braunfels, hope they can grow the program, soon.

Comal County Sheriff’s Office officials report the victim that was discovered in the house fire in the 700 block of Forest Trail has been positively identified as 57-year-old Gayle Hendry of New Braunfels.

Comal ISD held its first-ever Functional Fitness Games on November 15 for all its high school Physical Education students. The games were held on the famous red turf at Canyon High School’s football field. Canyon and Canyon Lake high school participated in the event.
