RV Fire Near Christmas Tree Tent Relatively Minor - No Injuries Reported

(New Braunfels, TX)  --   Despite yesterday’s rain, firefighters were called out for a structure fire inside an RV parked outside the Christmas tree tent in the Kohl’s parking lot at the corner of I-35 and Hwy 46 South.  Around 3pm, New Braunfels firefighters received a call that there was a fire inside that RV and that the fire appeared to be spreading, possibly threatening the Christmas tree selling business.  But when crews arrived they found a relatively small fire that was contained to just one area of the RV.  So they quickly doused the flames and rescued the RV owner’s cat from the smoky vehicle.  Firefighters say the Christmas tree tent (and the trees inside) were never in danger and no one was injured in the incident.
