Early Voting for May City Council Election to Include Two 12-Hour Voting Days

(New Braunfels, TX)  --  A clerical error in the way Early Voting hours for the upcoming May city election were initially posted has been corrected.  To be clear:  Early voting for the May City Council election will take place at the Comal County Elections Office on East Mill Street (behind the Courthouse complex in what used to be the Appraisal District office).  Early voting will run from 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday from April 29th through May 5th.  But there will be two 12-hour voting days offered.  We’ll see polls open from 7am to 7pm on the first day of Early Voting (which is Wednesday April 29th) and on Monday May 4th (the second to last day of Early Voting).  And one Saturday during Early Voting (May 2nd) will see polls open from 9am to 1pm.

Remember, the filing period has begin for anyone wishing to see the Dist. 3 or Dist. 4 seat on City Council.  The deadline to file is Feb. 27th.  Packets for residents interested in becoming a candidate can be picked up in the City Secretary’s Office at City Hall on Castell Avenue.
